SONIC CONCERTS Presents An Evening With The Tragically Hip LIVE!
Legendary Canadian band The Tragically Hip is returning to St. John's in support of their brand new album We Are The Same at Mile One Centre on Thursday, July 2 at 8 p.m.
Released April 7th by Universal Music, We Are The Same is the band's twelfth studio album and was recorded and mixed by Bob Rock at the band's Bath House studio in Kingston, Vancouver and Maui. Among the 12 brand new tracks are the singles 'Love Is A First' and 'Morning Moon'.
Critically acclaimed for over two decades, The Tragically Hip has been at the heart of the Canadian music scene for evoking a strong emotional connection between their music and their fans that remains unrivalled in this country. A fivepiece group of friends including Robby Baker (guitar), Gordon Downie (vocals, guitar), Johnny Fay (drums), Paul Langlois (guitar) and Gord Sinclair (bass), who grew up in Kingston, Ontario, The Hip has achieved the enviable status of a band that enjoys both mass popularity with over 8 million albums sold worldwide, as well as peer recognition through 31Juno Award Nominations and 11 wins.
A limited quantity of Gold Circle tickets are $79.50 including tax plus surcharge and go on sale Friday, April 24 at 12 noon.
Regular tickets are $62.50 including tax plus surcharge and go on sale Saturday, April 25 at 12 noon.
