(St. John's, NL) 5th String Entertainment and Mile One Centre are pleased to present three rock music icons - Eddie Money, Survivor & Starship featuring Mickey Thomas on Saturday, November 5th, 2011.

Eddie Money - Performing 150 or so shows every year, Eddie is always touring, somewhere. "My fans are the best, most loyal fans a guy could ask for. They keep coming back for more and I'm not gonna stop until they make me stop". Eddie Money says it at least once every show. 'Everything I do, I do it for you.' And he means it. This straight up rock and roll icon has been making music and delivering it to his fans since the mid 70s and wouldn't have it any other way. With hits like 'Two Tickets to Paradise,' 'Baby Hold On,' 'Walk on Water,' 'Think I'm in Love,' and 'Shakin,' Eddie continues to be one of the hardest working men in rock and roll.

Survivor - It's Survivor members, Frankie Sullivan (guitars, vocals) and Robin McAuley (lead vocals), that keep the signature Survivor sound that the world fell in love with, alive and touring! It was the 1982 release of'Eye of The Tiger' that really made Survivor a household name. The title song for this record was expressly written for Rocky III, which brought the band national attention. 'Eye of The Tiger' spent seven weeks at the #1 spot on the U.S. charts. The song won a Grammy, an Oscar nomination and was voted 'Best New Song' by the People's Choice Awards. Singles like 'Burning Heart' (US #2), 'The Search Is Over' (US#4), 'High on You' (US #8) and 'I Can't Hold Back '(US #13) continued to chart in the mid-1980s.

Starship featuring Mickey Thomas - Mickey Thomas is the owner of the soaring voice that propelled Starship through the decades of the 80's and 90's. With his soulful and compelling vocals, Mickey has established himself as one of Rock Music's most recognizable stars. Backed by the power of Mickey's vocals, Jefferson Starship immediately scored a #1 hit with 'Jane'. With this new sound and powerful new vocals, the group was renamed Starship and continued to record an amazing string of hits including 'No way Out', 'We Built This City', 'Sara', and an Oscar Nomination for the #1 hit 'Nothing Gonna Stop Us Now" from the movie 'Mannequin'. Other top hits included 'Find Your Way Back', 'Stranger', 'Laying on the Line', and 'It's Not Over Till It's Over' which became Major League Baseball's theme in 1987.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, June 9th at 12NOON. Prices range from $56.95 - $66.95 including tax plus surcharge. Tickets can be purchased at the Mile One Centre Box Office, by phoning 709-576-7657, toll free at 1-855-790-1245 or www.admission.com
