Feist with special guest Hayden

Nine-time JUNO award-winner and multi-Grammy nominated, Feist is set to perform at the Mile One Centre on Sunday, Nov. 9 as part of her Canadian tour, in support of her award-winning album The Reminder. Critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter Hayden will open the show.
Feist has been embraced by the mainstream without compromise and on her own terms. It is with this spirit that the long awaited return to her homeland is celebrated by announcing the involvement of two major charity efforts: there will be a food drive with local affiliate members of the Canadian Association of Food Banks at every show along her Fall tour; and the Canadian charities CARE Canada, MSF (Doctors Without Borders) and War Child Canada will receive ALL of the proceeds from Feist merchandise sales.
Concert-goers are asked to bring non-perishable food items to the venue, where local food bank volunteers will be accepting donations. One lucky winner each night will win a very special piece of limited Feist memorabilia, custom made for the food drive winners.
The 2008 Juno Awards in Calgary saw Feist take an award in all five categories nominated, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. This past year, she landed major features in publications such as Rolling Stone, Vogue, Maclean’s, and Vanity Fair and appeared on many Best-Of lists. She also performed at the 2008 Grammy Awards (where she was also nominated for four awards), headlined the Canada Day festivities on Parliament Hill, was a musical guest on Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with David Letterman, and NBC’s Today Show. The Reminder is certified Double Platinum in Canada and has gone on to sell over 1 million copies Worldwide.
